A week after opening at No. 2 on Digital Songs and No. 8 on the Hot 100 with "Speak Now," Swift claims her third chart-topper on the former list- all occurring this year- as "Back to December" debuts with 242,000 downloads. "December" starts as the Hot Shot Debut at No. 6 on the Hot 100, extending Swift's record for most top 10 debuts in the history of the chart to seven. Her latest track is the third pre-release single from "Speak Now," which drops on Monday, Oct. 25.

Season seven "American Idol" champion David Cook will set a record for debut entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Digital Songs tomorrow as 11 titles enter the former, while 14 songs jump on the download tally.

After its record 3.38 million-selling debut week, Adele's 25 has surpassed 1 million sold in the U.S. in its second week, according to Nielsen Music. It makes more history by becoming the first album to sell a million copies in two different weeks since Nielsen began tracking sales data in 1991. 25 surpasses the mark with slightly less than one day of data remaining to be processed by Nielsen in the tracking week (ending Dec. 3).
