Meningiomas are the most common primary tumors of the central nervous system, arising from the meningeal layers that envelop the brain and spinal cord. (1) The World Health Organization (WHO) classifies them into grades 1 (G1), 2 (G2), and 3 (G3) based on histopathological and molecular features. (2) G1 meningiomas, which represent approximately 81% of cases, are typically benign and slow-growing, with recurrence rates around 5%.

Abstract Leishmania parasites cause a spectrum of diseases termed leishmaniasis, which manifests in two main clinical forms, cutaneous and visceral leishmaniasis.
