To the Editor, Allergen immunotherapy (AIT) remains the only treatment capable of modifying the natural course of allergies [1, 2]. The literature highlights its benefits, including a reduction in work and school absences and favourable patient-reported safety and efficacy profiles for respiratory allergy [3-6]. However, despite these advantages, a general lack of clarity and awareness regarding AIT's applications persists, leading to potential misinformation or misuse [3, 5].
