Claiming the city: public art exhibitions, spatial politics and everyday resistance in the UK
Abstract This article reconceptualises public art exhibitions in the UK as spatial-aesthetic and institutional devices that organise urban relations. By developing a unified Lefebvrian spatial grammar, it reads cases at two scales: a micro triad (representations of space, spatial practices, and spaces of representation) and a macro diagnosis (abstract, contradictory, and differential space).
Research on comprehensive drought index prediction model based on CNN-LSTM
Abstract Ordos is a significant mineral-producing region and economically advanced in Inner Mongolia; yet, due to factors including as geography and climate, drought catastrophes frequently occur, which have become a critical constraint on regional growth.
Street furniture as a place-making tool: public appropriation and political conflict in Kensington and Chelsea, UK
This article examines everyday appropriations of street furniture as subtle yet meaningful forms of place-making and spatial negotiation within the highly regulated urban environment of Kensington and Chelsea, London. Employing a Grounded Theory methodology, the study identifies two interrelated appropriation modes – primary (spontaneous reinterpretations) and negotiated (deliberate modifications) – that reflect residents’ informal assertions of spatial agency.

An Encapsulation‐free and Hierarchical Porous Triboelectric Scaffold with Dynamic Hydrophilicity for Efficient Cartilage Regeneration
Tissue engineering and electrotherapy are two promising methods to promote tissue repair. However, their integration remains an underexplored area, because their requirements on devices are usually distinct. Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) have shown great potential to develop self-powered devices. However, due to their susceptibility to moisture, TENGs have to be encapsulated in vivo.

Tolerant and Rapid Endochondral Bone Regeneration Using Framework‐Enhanced 3D Biomineralized Matrix Hydrogels
1 Introduction Bone repair materials, such as metal, ceramic, and polymer-based artificial materials, play an essential role in treating bone defects.[1-6] Although these clinically therapeutic treatments could satisfactorily realize the basic requirements of defect filling and mechanical support, they commonly limit to non-regenerative bone healing without physiologically functional recovery.[7-11] Tissue-engineered (TE) bone, combining seed cells with biocompatible scaffolds, has emerged as...

3. Results 3.1. Spatial Distribution Characteristics and Drought Trends The distribution of multi-year average ET, PET, NDVI and DSI between 2001 and 2020 showed obvious spatial heterogeneity (Figure 2), with the ET and NDVI exhibiting a spatial mode of low values in the southwest and high in the northeast, PET showing a spatial mode of high values in the southwest and low in the northeast, and DSI showing a distribution characteristic of aridity in the west and wetness in the east.
LncRNA AL161431.1 predicts prognosis and drug response in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma
1 Introduction Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), which arises from the mucosal epithelium of the oral cavity, nasopharynx, oropharynx, hypopharynx, and larynx, is the eighth most commonly occurring form of cancer in the world, responsible for approximately 745,000 new cases and 364,340 deaths in 2020 (1). The available clinical treatment modalities for HNSCC include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and the latest emerging immunotherapy (2).

Seasonal Variations of Ecosystem Water Use Efficiency and Their Responses to Climate Factors in Inner Mongolia of China
Abstract : Ecosystem water use efficiency (eWUE) is a useful metric to examine the interactions between water and carbon cycles in ecosystems. To reveal the response and adaptation characteristics of different vegetation types within the context of global warming on a regional scale, the spatiotemporal characteristics and influencing factors of the seasonal eWUE of various vegetation types in Inner Mongolia from 2001 to 2020 were explored.

Synthesis and Initial Biological Evaluation of Boron-Containing Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen Ligands for Treatment of Prostate Cancer Using Boron Neutron Capture Therapy
Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) is a therapeutic modality which has been used for the treatment of cancers, including brain and head and neck tumors. For effective treatment via BNCT, efficient and selective delivery of a high boron dose to cancer cells is needed. Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a target for prostate cancer imaging and drug delivery.
Deoxycholic acid disrupts the intestinal mucosal barrier and promotes intestinal tumorigenesis
High-fat diet, which leads to an increased level of deoxycholic acid (DCA) in the intestine, is a major environmental factor in the development of colorectal cancer (CRC). However, evidence relating to bile acids and intestinal tumorigenesis remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the effects of DCA on the intestinal mucosal barrier and its impact on the development of CRC.
Complementary Steric Engineering at the Protein-Ligand Interface for Analogue-Sensitive TET Oxygenases
Ten-eleven translocation (TET) enzymes employ O , earth-abundant iron, and 2-ketoglutarate (2KG) to perform iterative C–H oxidation of 5-methylcytosine in DNA to control expression of the mammalian genome. Given that more than 60 such C–H oxygenases are present in humans, determining context-dependent functions of each of these enzymes is a pivotal challenge. In an effort to tackle the problem, we developed analogue-sensitive TET enzymes to perturb the activity of a specific member.
Late-stage Deuteration of 13C-enriched Substrates for T1 Prolongation in Hyperpolarized 13C MRI
One of the critical limitations of hyperpolarized C technology is the effective lifetime of the hyperpolarized signal, limited by the spin lattice relaxation time T . Replacement of protons with deuterium in close proximity to the C nucleus of interest causes an increase in T . We refined a late stage isotopic labeling method, which allowed deuterium labeling of C substrates with attached O or N atoms.
Systematic Review: Adverse Events of Fecal Microbiota Transplantation
Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is a microbiota-based therapy that shows therapeutic potential in recurrent or refractory Clostridium difficile infections and other intestinal or extra-intestinal disorders. Nonetheless, adverse events (AEs) remain a major challenge in the application of FMT. To review the AEs of FMT and to address the concerns of safety during the procedure. Publications were retrieved in the databases of Medline, Embase and Cochrane Library.
