1 INTRODUCTION Post-COVID-19 syndrome (PCS) is defined as a heterogeneous condition with persistent clinical signs and symptoms that appear following COVID-19 infection, lasting for more than 12 weeks, not better explained by an alternative diagnosis (Carod-Artal, 2021). With over 200 symptoms of PCS documented (Davis et al., 2023), some common complaints include fatigue, shortness of breath, cognitive dysfunction, and complaints generally have an impact on everyday functioning (WHO, 2021).
