Jordan and Cian Adams, who have become known as The FTD Brothers, are attempting a marathon a day, for 32 consecutive days, across the 32 counties of Ireland. It’s also a race against time for 30-year-old Jordan Adams and his 25-year-old brother Cian from the the small town of Redditch, Worcestershire as they aim to fit as much into their lives as possible before they develop familial frontal temporal dementia (FTD) – the disease that claimed the life of their mother Geraldine.

Kerry motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries in fatal collision with van, inquest hears

"It was a split second situation,” said Coroner Aisling Quilter. The 41-year old was travelling from Listowel to Moyvane when he was involved in a collision with a van which was turning right. He braked to avoid the collision but was unable to do so and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The inquest into his death concluded this week as medical evidence was given as well as evidence from investigating gardaí.

With a sweeping brush in one hand and a book of poetry in the other, Tim has officially launched this year’s Killarney Looking Good competition which is aimed at boosting the town’s chances of success in the 2026 national tidy towns competition.
