1. Introduction Aging is associated with bone loss leading to osteoporosis and an increase in the risk of fragility fractures [1]. Contributory to age-related skeletal deterioration is the gradual decline in testosterone (T) levels with advancing age in men [2]. Previous studies have shown that androgen deficiency leads to bone loss and osteoporosis [3,4]. Prior studies from our group showed an increase in bone mineral density (BMD) with T replacement therapy [5].
