Erik Selle i partiet Konservativt tar i Aftenposten 5. juli Haakon Lie til inntekt for sitt syn på Midtøsten-konflikten. Det stemmer at min bestefar var en varm venn av Israel hele livet, men han ble også i økende grad opptatt av palestinernes situasjon. Da jeg mot slutten av hans liv spurte hva han mente om situasjonen i Midtøsten, var han tydelig skuffet over utviklingen, med stadig steilere fronter og mer uforsonlige konflikter.
