A novel β‐galactosidase from anaerobic thermophilic Caldicellulosiruptor saccharolyticus DSM 8903 with high potential for lactulose production
Figure S2. Phylogenetic analysis of CsBgl2A and other characterized GH2 β-galactosidases. Table S1. Effects of enzyme concentration and reaction time on CsBgl2A activity for lactulose production. The lactulose yield refers to the initial lactose mass percentage that is converted to lactulose. Different letters indicate significant differences within groups at P < 0.05. Values are the means from triplicate experiments ± standard deviations. Table S2.
A Novel D-Psicose 3-Epimerase from Halophilic, Anaerobic Iocasia fonsfrigidae and Its Application in Coconut Water
Abstract : D-Psicose is a rare, low-calorie sugar that is found in limited quantities in national products. Recently, D-psicose has gained considerable attention due to its potential applications in the food, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical industries. In this study, a novel D-psicose 3-epimerase (a group of ketose 3-epimerase) from an extremely halophilic, anaerobic bacterium, Iocasia fonsfrigidae strain SP3-1 (IfDPEase), was cloned, expressed in Escherichia coli, and characterized.
