Halide perovskites for sensitive, stable and scalable X-ray detection and imaging
Halide perovskites for sensitive, stable and scalable X-ray detection and imaging Shujie Tie,ab Siyin Dong,a Ruihan Yuan,a Bing Cai,a Jianguo Zhu*b and Xiaojia Zheng *ac Abstract Halide perovskites have attracted significant research interests in the X-ray detection and imaging field. Their strong X-ray attenuating ability and good carrier transportation endow them with high sensitivity, which is better than those of commercialized amorphous selenium (a-Se) and CdZnTe (CZT).
Green solvent blade-coated MA3Bi2I9 for direct-conversion X-ray detectors Direct X-ray detectors, which can convert an X-ray signal into electrical current with superior sensitivity, are of great interest for a wide range of applications, including medical diagnostics, security screening, and nondestructive product testing. Halide perovskites are recently demonstrated a new X-ray detection candidate due to its excellent optoelectronic characteristics and robust fabrication.
