BOOM FactCheck — BOOM reached out to Paul Oommen, former Times Now correspondent, who confirmed to us that the video was a report by him about a 2018 poll manifesto in Telugu, by the Indian National Congress for Telangana. The Congress party had later denied releasing any manifesto with only pro-Muslim schemes as shown in the bulletin.

BOOM FactCheck — BOOM found that the video shows a provocative speech by a preacher named Dr Syed Irshad Bukhari in Dinajpur, Bangladesh in June, 2021. Bukhari targeted Hindus after radical Hindu priest Yati Niarsinghanand's speech against Prophet Muhammad in April, 2021. In the video, the cleric makes inciting comments asking Hindus to read the Kalma, convert to Islam and apologise to the Prophet.

The video has been shared with captions in English, Telugu and Tamil. One such caption reads, "Wonderful but true. None of us would have seen Vivekananda in the right angle.
