American writer and journalist, former TV producer and screenwriter, based in Bordeaux, France. I specialize in anything that touches wine -- culture, business, health, art, environment, technology, politics, crime....

I am a contributing editor at Wine Spectator magazine. I used to write for AFP (Agence France Presse), Meininger's Wine Business International and Wine Life.

I have a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University, and a DUAD degree from the University of Bordeaux's enology department.
