Christians around the world and across denominational divides celebrate Good Friday every year. It is so ubiquitous that it hardly surprises us any more - just another religion celebrating it's holy day. Nothing to see here! But Good Friday ought, I think, to surprise us. In fact, in many ways, it's a very weird festival. On this day, believers remember the crucifixion and death of the Jewish teacher Jesus of Nazareth. Let's pause there for a second.

Working on the fringes of the underground hip-hop movement in Kolkata, Soham Gupta follows young men from Dalit and Muslim minorities as they walk their way into Indian society, trying to overcome obstacles related to caste, class, religious discrimination and homophobia.

The roller-coaster IPL 2019 season is finally over with Mumbai Indians becoming the first ever team to win the trophy four times. They peaked at the right time, and their traditional dominance over Chennai Super Kings turned out to be crucial in a nail-biting final. Apart from these two teams though, quite a few of the others went through periods of prolonged struggle. Those teams are now in the process of looking for ways to improve their structure and performance going into the 2020 season.
