2020 - Reporter of the year (Print)

The Osun state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists holds this award yearly to reward outstanding Journalists in the state. The award is the biggest in the state which explains why it's always competitive. In 2020 I won the reporter of the year in the print category. The category is the most competitive. There are about 50 reporters writing for national newspapers as correspondents in the state and coming from a newspaper only circulating in the state to clinch that award was unexpected.
