Association of Helicobacter pylori infection with the correa cascade: a single-center, retrospective cohort study
Abstract Background: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a primary etiological agent for various gastric pathologies. Although numerous studies have described the association between H. pylori and individual stages of the Correa cascade, data comprehensively evaluating its prevalence across the full histopathological spectrum-from non-atrophic gastritis (NAG) to gastric cancer (GC)-within a single Chinese cohort remain limited. This study aimed to investigate the association between H.
PUM1 Promotes Tumor Progression by Activating DEPTOR‐Meditated Glycolysis in Gastric Cancer
Abstract RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) play essential roles in tumorigenesis and progression, but their functions in gastric cancer (GC) remain largely elusive. Here, it is reported that Pumilio 1 (PUM1), an RBP, induces metabolic reprogramming through post-transcriptional regulation of DEP domain-containing mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR)-interacting protein (DEPTOR) in GC. In clinical samples, elevated expression of PUM1 is associated with recurrence, metastasis, and poor survival.
Identification of a Two-Gene Signature and Establishment of a Prognostic Nomogram Predicting Overall Survival in Diffuse-Type Gastric Cancer
3. Results 3.1. Identification of Diffuse-Type Gastric Cancer-Specific Gene Signatures The flowchart of the screening process used in our study to identify diffuse-type gastric cancer gene signatures is shown in Figure 1. The details of the GEO datasets included in this study are displayed in Table 1. A total of 991 (GSE22377), 166 (GSE38749) and 171 (GSE47007) DEGs were identified between the diffuse-type and intestinal-type gastric cancer datasets.
