1 INTRODUCTION The Internet of things (IoT) provided from space (satellite IoT) is a promising solution for global connectivity at low cost anywhere at any time around the world.1 5G combined with low Earth orbit mega constellations of CubeSats are considered as potential technologies to achieve global connectivity, especially in remote areas.2 Unlike traditional satellites, CubeSats are very small, inexpensive and have dimensions of 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm as the basic unit (1U).
