When the bluegrass band J2B2, headed by John Jorgenson (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Herb Pedersen (banjo, vocals), Jon Randall (guitar, vocals) and Brian Netsley (bass), began playing the classic “Back to Old Kentucky”at the Laguna College of Art and Design on June 14, Elizabeth Fuerstmon couldn't sit still. She was on her feet, dancing with husband Drew and an elegently bewhiskered Mike Nelson. “Oh, I so love dancing,” she said.

Paul Simon in Heisler Park: Still Crazy After All These Years

The five-man Simon Says Revue Band which, not surprisingly, features the music of Paul Simon, opened the concert with their eponymous namesake's classic “Mother and Child Reunion,” segueing to the equally classic “Kodachrome,” as Heisler Park's Amphitheater was filled to capacity on the night of the 26th for a Sunset Serenades Series. The crowd even overflowed to the Cliff Drive sidewalks. The event was the fifth in Laguna's seven May/June Sunset Serenades.
