In both a positive and negative sense. Accessibility and dissemination are strong plusses, but the same can be said for less reliable news

A story about my school district trying to shut down a gifted special education program. They reversed their decision after my investigation.

Somebody pitched me a gambling advertorial as editor of a high school paper.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That it's inconsequential and nobody cares. Both are wrong!
