Driver Ardon Mofford, who was injured in an Inverness Raceway accident on Sunday, June 14, was released from hospital on Monday morning. Mofford was injured in an accident that occurred in Sunday afternoon’s sixth race on the first turn when the leading horse broke stride and went sideways off the rail, hooking his bike. Mofford was hit from behind by another horse, destroying his wheel and launching him from the bike.
