Abstract Genome-scale metabolic models (GEMs) are powerful tools used to understand the functional effects of genetic variants. However, the impact of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in transcription factors and their interactions on metabolic fluxes remains largely unexplored.

Abstract Urban public transport systems, particularly metro networks, serve as key hubs for microbial transmission, yet the urban microbiome in densely populated regions like India remains poorly characterized. These environments harbor diverse microbial communities, including both beneficial and pathogenic species, which can influence public health.

Abstract Genetic interactions are prevalent across species, from yeast to humans, and play a crucial role in shaping complex traits. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying these interactions remain largely unexplored. Here, we answer the question of whether interactions between genetic variants can activate novel unique pathways and if such pathways can be targeted to modulate phenotypic outcomes.
