PREP BASEBALL: St. Albert sweeps Atlantic boys
COUNCIL BLUFFS — The two things you don’t want to have go wrong for you in a baseball game are pitching and defense. That’s what Atlantic didn’t want to have happen against Council Bluffs St. Albert, but that’s what indeed happened in a pair of Hawkeye Ten Conference losses Monday night in Council Bluffs. An error-prone defense was the Trojans’ undoing in Game 1, a 12-1 decision by the Falcons. Game 2 didn’t exactly go better, as the Falcons collected 18 hits in an 11-2 decision.
