Robert Hollingsworth knew what he was doing when he filmed himself in uniform signing off from his last shift as a police officer in Tacoma, Washington. The video, which referred to Tacoma leaders as “spineless and tyrannical” and included a conservative slogan criticizing President Joe Biden, went viral. Hollingsworth had already resigned from the department, but police officials placed him on administrative leave because the video violated city policy.

Serial bank robber suspected in 7 holdups held without bail | Tacoma News Tribune

A serial bank robber suspected in seven holdups in Pierce County in the last 13 months has been criminally charged. Shane Hammond, 30, pleaded not guilty Monday to five counts of first-degree robbery. He was ordered held without bail. More charges might come in the future, according to prosecutors. Authorities say Hammond robbed seven banks and shoplifted in one drug store between December 2021 and March 2022.
