This is a developing story and will be updated. It was last updated at 10 p.m. Emergency crews responded to a vegetation fire south of Chautauqua on Sunday night. As of about 10 p.m., the fire was estimated at roughly an acre, according to scanner traffic. Conditions at the scene included little to no wind and relatively flat terrain, which helped limit its spread. Earlier, crews reported the fire was largely burning out, and by around 10:10 p.m., firefighters began putting water on the fire.
