1. Introduction There are several types of three-phase rectifiers with low harmonic content for use in different types of loads, and they can be classified into two large groups, line-commutated and self-commutated (electronically regulated), as shown in Figure 1 [1,2]. In the case of three-phase line-switched rectifiers, diodes are used as a switching device, being driven by the frequency of the input AC voltage.
