4.1.2 Frequency of cognitive deficits by group The graph below (Figure 2.) shows the percentage of participants in each cancer group scoring at least two SD below the mean score on at least one test and at least three tests at each timepoint compared to the proportions expected in a normal population due to chance alone.35 Perceptuo-motor (42% scored 2SD below the mean), memory (19% at 2SD) and executive function (16% at 2SD) were the cognitive domains most frequently affected.

Analysis revealed five key themes. Participants described usual care as burdensome and an inefficient use of time, particularly those in employment. Being able to self‐monitor and initiate their own care increased patients' knowledge about their illness and its treatment, and enabled them to gain a sense of control and ownership over their arthritis. They appreciated the personalized nature of the new service, which allowed them to be seen at a time and by a method more appropriate to their needs.

Objective The objective of this research is to determine the effects of mobile telehealth (MTH) on glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) and other clinical and patient-reported outcomes in insulin-requiring people with diabetes. Methods A nine-month randomised, controlled trial compared standard care to standard care supplemented with MTH (self-monitoring, mobile-phone data transmissions, graphical and nurse-initiated feedback, and educational calls).
