Stefan Armbruster’s Biography

Stefan Armbruster is a multi-award winning journalist and correspondent with more than 30 years reporting experience in Australia and internationally - including the Pacific - previously with SBS, BBC, ABC, Dow Jones and CNBC. As a cross-platform journalist, he researches, reports, films, produces and edits news packages and articles for television, audio, digital and social media platforms. In previous roles during almost a decade in London he oversaw production of daily live rolling news, television series and major event coverage. Stefan has mentored and trained students and journalists for three decades, including in the Pacific region, and helped program international journalism workshops and forums. For three decades he has been a member of the journalist unions including AJA and NUJ (UK) and been an elected delegate with the MEAA for more than a decade. His first job was as a broadcaster at Brisbane community radio 4ZZZ-fm in 1987.
