Organic solar cells (OSCs) are an emerging renewable energy technology that provides a viable alternative to the currently well-established photovoltaic technologies. OSCs have achieved record power conversion efficiencies (PCE) of over 19% to date. (1−3) In addition to their high efficiencies, the use of organic materials offers advantages such as flexibility, transparency, and lightweight properties.
