There was a time when simply saying the word “bath” would trigger my daughter to hit a full-on sprint in the opposite direction—I’m talking Olympic-level speed. Bare feet slapping across the floor, a trail of all of her toys behind her, and me standing there holding a towel like, “how did we get here?” Because truly, it didn’t start this way.
