Pickling Primer: How To Get Started!
published May 17, 2013 (Image credit: Marisa McClellan) Pickling involves little more than marinating vegetables over time. How much time depends on the method. And for new picklers, the best way to try it out is through refrigerator pickling. You don’t need a garden’s worth of vegetables or canning equipment – just pick a vegetable (or several), add spices and brine, and into the fridge it goes. Le Pain Quotidien - Avocado Toast
Healthy breakfasts can get real boring, especially when rotating between cereal and eggs, as we frequently do in my household. When eggs are too much effort (hey, lazy happens), it’s cereal day after day. Investigation of the changes in oscillatory power during task switching after mild traumatic brain injury
Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) can cause persistent cognitive changes. These cognitive changes may be due to changes in neural communication. Task‐switching is a cognitive control operation that may be susceptible to mTBI and is associated with oscillations in theta (4‐7 Hz), alpha (8‐13 Hz), and beta (14‐30 Hz) ranges. This study aimed to investigate oscillatory power in response to cues indicating a task‐switch after mTBI.
