Why did you become a journalist?

To live life on the front lines and empower people by informing them.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

My high school didn't have a newspaper, but I did create a newsletter for my 3rd-grade class and run my own gossip website in junior high.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My cover story for LA Weekly on the woman who gave birth to twins at age 50 through embryo adoption
