COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — After months of anticipation, fine dining is returning to the Scioto Riverfront in Downtown Columbus. The Friday opening of Amara was just announced in a news release. Headed by Chef Josh Dalton, the restaurant will offer a modern, upscale take on Mediterranean cuisine. “Amara is inspired by the Mediterranean as a whole — the food, the people and the way life happens around the table,” said Dalton.
