X-Therma has announced the commercial launch of its XT-NoVo and TimeSeal platform, an end-to-end biopreservation and transport system designed to preserve highly sensitive biologics at sub-zero temperatures without freezing, using a non-toxic antifreeze molecule.1 The company says the integrated platform can safely extend the storage and transport window of cell-based therapies from the industry's current standard of two to four hours under hypothermic conditions to up to five days.
