Puzzler Lumines Remastered is now available for iOS and Android It brings back the classic block-dropping action It's free-to-try with a single IAP for unlocking the full version Back in the PSP days, video game designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi decided he wanted to make a puzzler for the platform, eventually creating Lumines. Since then, it's been released on consoles and PC alongside mobile. But handheld is its real home, and it makes a glorious return today on iOS and Android as Lumines Remastered.

As I said when I played ColorSweeper, style can go a long way when it comes to puzzlers. When expertly executed, it can elevate the experience to something truly special. Lumines Remastered is the absolute epitome of this, combining audio and visuals superbly to create a delightful flow state simulator. I've been playing the trial version for a while now, and I'm itching to get back to it.
