Have you ever used a typewriter?

I have but only briefly. I would like to try it again one day considering it was the precursor to our modern day keyboards.

How is social media changing news?

The fact that news posts can go out to millions of users across the world as soon as someone hits send makes it a powerful tool.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Email is the best method for me at this time.

Why did you become a journalist?

To help others learn more about the technology industry. Combining my passion for technology and writing has allowed me to do that.

When's the best time to pitch you?

I will typically be around to accept email pitches between 2pm and 5pm EST.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That someone is too old to learn something new about technology. Regardless of age, it's never too late to learn about any topic.
