1 Introduction Gender-affirming voice care comprises services provided for trans and gender diverse people who seek professional assistance with their voices. Care provision may include voice training and/or therapy and/or laryngeal surgery and is determined by the goals of the individual seeking care, with guidance from the clinical team [1]. For trans women seeking assistance to achieve a higher speaking pitch and a voice more congruent with their gender, laryngeal surgery is sometimes selected.
