ABSTRACT Amidst the United States response to the COVID-19 pandemic and a growing a racial justice movement, all within the context and backdrop of significant political turmoil, it became clear that the social work profession needed collective and individual responses. These responses were essential to address the challenges posed by the pandemic and to tackle the racial and political disparities that COVID-19 pandemic underscored.
