Well that looks expensive. Christopher Nolan is back and he brought some big IMAX cameras with him. The epic adaptation of one of the oldest and most well-known stories by the poet Homer has been on the horizon for a looooong time. However, the wait is over on July 17th.

What a powerfully creepy first look at the new new NEW Resident Evil movie. This time it’s being helmed by writer and director Zach Cregger, who was behind Barbarian and Weapons. Both of those movies were breaths of fresh air in the horror space, and were VERY surprising (read: completely unsettling & messed up) experiences in the theatre. I get the feeling from this so-called “teaser” trailer that there are far more surprises to come.

This time last year the likelihood of ever watching “Coyote vs. Acme” was absolutely nil. In early 2025 the film’s star, Will Forte, raged against the decision made by WB to shelve the complete film to save $30M in a tax write-off. That’s when Ketchup Entertainment stepped in to buy the rights to the film outright. They have locked in a theatrical release for August 28th, and we need to go see it in theatres because WB will be unable to make a further cent from the release of the movie.
