I'm a business reporter, currently writing about healthcare, the supply and logistics industry, and other areas for the Daily Memphian, a nonprofit news source for Memphis, Tennessee. I most recently worked for the politics and governing desk at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a newspaper dating back to 1786. It serves Pittsburgh and its outlying suburbs in western Pennsylvania. Before that, I covered local, state and sometimes even federal politics at two local media outlets in Maryland. My journalism career started at a daily newspaper in Mason City, Iowa, called the Globe Gazette. Outside of journalism, I'm an big Everton F.C. supporter and Philly sports fan, and have a record collection of over 250 albums. I also love traveling--I've been to 14 countries in Europe, since studying in London in my senior year of college.
