MYERSVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — Truck traffic in western Maryland is a bit less stressful for drivers due to the expansion of parking facilities for big rigs at the I-70 rest stops just west of Myersville. After months of construction work, more than two dozen spaces have been added to both the east and westbound parking areas at the South Mountain facilities, with plans to provide more than 70 parking spots when the project is completed. More than $8 million has been spent on the project.
