How is social media changing news?
For good, it's making it so much easier to share and find information. For ill, many of the incentives it's created are often problematic.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I'm pretty simple. For me it's usually just Safari, phone calls, audio recording, and Pages.
Why did you become a journalist?
I love sharing interesting and beautiful things with other people. Journalism also gives me the chance to meet and talk to fascinating people.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I'm most likely to be exploring new restaurants with my partner, down some sort of culinary rabbit hole, or playing with my dog and cat.
