Australia’s eeriest abandoned buildings

Although no longer in use, this eerie railway passage isn't entirely deserted – in fact, scores of bright glow-worms have made their home here. The tunnel, officially the heritage-listed Metropolitan Tunnel, was first built back in the 1880s but by 1915 it had closed, apparently due to the dangers posed by soot and smoke.
