Staying in control - Small-Sided Game
by Stuart Blake in Ball Control and Footwork, Small Sided Games WHY USE IT This small-sided game allows players to test their first touch in a more game-realistic setting. SET UP Play with two teams of four, plus four neutral players around the outside of the area. Set up four mini-goals, two at each end. Players should be in three different coloured bibs or kits to enable smooth transition to the next step in the session.

I was working as a London black cab driver on long hours, and, to be honest, I hated it. I had been suffering from excruciating back and neck pain for years, which forced me to give up playing at 35.
