Agent-based model for simulating microbial movement with a preferred target for agricultural biologicals

A generic ABM framework was developed and validated to simulate microbial behavior and spatial dynamics in soil systems, and focus on understanding how inoculated microbes navigate toward plant roots under agricultural scenarios. This model incorporated population dynamics and directional preference mechanisms of microbes, which were both essential mechanisms for microbial behavior.

Discussion This study investigated the containment policies, mobility, and COVID-19 cases in Chile, Singapore, South Korea and Israel in response to COVID-19, to provide experience and lessons learned for studying the impact of containment policies on mobility and COVID-19, and for better response to COVID-19. Chile, Israel and Singapore adopted containment strategies, which aim to prevent spread of infections and prefer social intervention measures to block epidemics spread (Jiao et al., 2022).
