OsNAC24 regulates expression of starch-synthesis enzyme-coding genes by directly binding to their promoters To test whether SECGs are direct targets of OsNAC24, we performed chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) analysis. We generated transgenic plants overexpressing OsNAC24 (Figure a,b) and collected endosperms at 7–9 DAF for the ChIP-seq assay. All genes directly bound by OsNAC24 were analysed and nine genes encoding starch-synthesis enzymes were identified (Table ).
