Cleveland Police arrested a woman in her 60s after allegedly mounting the pavement and driving at children as they made their way from school in Guisborough this afternoon. Members of public had reported the female, who has been reported to have been wearing a red mask, for driving erratically on several occasions over the past few days.

Missing teenage girls from Stockton found after two days of searching — Police Hour

Megan Hardwick (15) and Ruby Cuskern (14) from Stockton were last seen around 6.15pm on Saturday, intoxicated on a local field, they failed to go home that evening and were reported missing. Police and the public searched local streets and playing fields in the Stockton and Middlesbrough areas for 2 days, before the girls were spotted in a shop in Middlesbrough yesterday.

Residents living in the surrounding area were asked to keep window and doors closed as a safety precaution. A large plume of smoke could be seen from several miles away.
