How is social media changing news?

Social media is becoming news itself. Instead of broadcasts and events, social media posts, live sessions and multimedia will take over news as we know it, as a matter of fact it has begun. One can not survive as a journalist in this century without acknowledging and understanding the role of social media in news making. Arguements, jokes, memes on social media are already making the news. Major news agencies are already reporting the tweets of famous people.

It means giving a voice those who needs it, sharing information the public needs to function effectively. A journalist chronicles history

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was the president of the press club, under my leadership we were able to create a lot of inspirational articles.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

A story that showed the pain of the masses of my country

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

The most common misconception about my beat is that is impossible to hold the government unaccountable and actually make a difference with it
