ABSTRACT In this article, a photocatalyst, strontium molybdate, and cerium-doped strontium molybdate (Ce@SrMoO4) (ranging from 1% to 5%) are utilised for the degradation of methyl orange (MO) under Ultraviolet (UV) light. The evaluation encompasses the examination of phase, morphology, structure and band gap via X-ray Diffraction (XRD) patterns, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), and Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis).
