Waterfalls are great examples of how ruthless and overpowering nature can get. While some find the gorging sound surrounding waterfalls to be relaxing, the same can induce a sense of anxiety amongst the faint of hearts. As a photographer, you have the ability to take an image that represents the mood that you want to portray. No matter how violent a waterfall may appear in reality, you can thus depict a relaxing perception using techniques to take a smooth image of a waterfall.

Cityscapes are great. The complexity of a cityscape is a representation of how far our civilization has come. But no matter how advanced we think of ourselves, mother nature never fails to amaze us. As photographers if you are able to capture the complexity of cityscapes in conjunction with the superiority of nature, then that’ll make for an awesome photo. What better way to do so than taking cityscapes during a lightning storm.

It sure can get boring when you’re forced to stay indoors for quite a long time. However, it doesn’t mean that you should put your creative photography to rest.
