Nitride perovskites are an emerging class of materials predicted to exhibit diverse functional properties, yet remain underexplored due to synthesis challenges of oxygen-free nitrides. Recently, LaMoN3 has been reported as an oxygen-free nitride perovskite with polar symmetry, exhibiting excellent dynamic stability and ferroelectric properties under moderate pressure.

Post-Transition Metal Sn-Based Chalcogenide Perovskites: A Promising Lead-Free and Transition Metal Alternative for Stable, High-Performance Photovoltaics Chalcogenide perovskites (CPs) have emerged as promising materials for optoelectronic applications due to their stability, non-toxicity, small bandgaps, high absorption coefficients, and defect tolerance.

Lead-free inorganic A2M(I)M(III)X6 halide double perovskites (HDPs) are potentially benign materials with improved chemical stability as compared to organic lead halide perovskites. However, achieving comparable efficiency in optoelectronic devices requires careful exploration of suitable HDPs with favorable electronic, optical, and transport properties.
