1 Introduction Women with physical disabilities have a similar desire for pregnancy as their non-disabled peers, but they can also have more ambivalence, uncertainty, and doubt [1, 2]. Factors such as the importance of having a biological child [2], length of experience with their condition [3], the effects of the disability or disease on the course of pregnancy or functioning after delivery [3-7], or level of functional impairment [8] can influence pregnancy decision-making.
